The mission of Sport Lived is to help young people explore the world through sport. By combining playing or coaching sport with a gap year, their programmes enable participants to become integrated into a local community through their sports club or academy becoming a second family.

The Sport Lived network helps participants and their families to feel secure. Their dedicated UK staff, pre-departure briefings and local overseas programme co-ordinators all ensure that programmes run smoothly.

The writing task was quite simple - to sell the benefits of playing hockey, rugby union, cricket, rowing, football, netball, tennis, swimming, athletics, rugby league, basketball or water polo in Australia, New Zealand or Argentina. Wish I could apply.
